Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information MultiVid ("we", "us") collects when you use our video-combining service at this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using MultiVid, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Your email address. We collect this when you sign in so we can create your account and keep track of your credit balance.
• Videos you upload. We temporarily receive the clips you upload in order to combine them into a single video for you. We never store your videos. They exist on our servers only for the minutes it takes to produce your result, and are deleted the instant it's finished. We keep no copy, no backup, and no archive of them.
• Payment information. When you buy credits, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles that. We store a record that a purchase happened and the credits it granted.
• Basic technical data. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) used to keep the service secure and running.

How we handle your videos

We never store your videos. Your uploaded clips are used for one purpose only: producing the combined video you asked for. The moment that render finishes, your original clips are deleted from our servers automatically — not hours later, and regardless of whether you download the result.

The finished video is then available briefly so you can download it, and is deleted automatically as well (within 20 minutes). Nothing is retained after that.

We do not keep copies, backups, or archives. No human at MultiVid watches your videos. We never share, sell, publish, or license them, and we never use them to train or improve any model or algorithm.

Because deletion is automatic and permanent, please download and keep your own copy of any video you want to hold on to — we will not be able to recover it for you afterwards.

How we use your information

• To provide the service (combine your videos and deliver the result).
• To manage your account and credit balance.
• To process purchases and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To communicate with you about your account when needed.

Cookies

We use a single sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Service providers we rely on

We use trusted third parties to run MultiVid: Supabase (sign-in and database) and Stripe (payments). Your information is shared with them only as needed to provide the service, and each has its own privacy policy governing their handling of data.

Data retention

Your account email and credit balance are kept while your account is active. Uploaded and rendered videos are deleted automatically as described above. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Children

MultiVid is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
